SANDICCA – Effects and benefits
for demanding skin

For thousands of years, people have relied on the healing and nourishing effects of
plant oils, herbs, essences and elixirs. Tanja Kroisleitner, founder of SANDICCA in the
eastern Styrian Joglland region, knew this too. During her pregnancy with
Aurelia, now 12 years old, Tanja Kroisleitner began an intensive exploration
of the superberry sea buckthorn. In particular, the beta-carotene naturally contained in
sea buckthorn pulp oil, as a precursor to provitamin A, is especially
important for the development of the unborn child’s organs during the first months of pregnancy. However, it also
has special properties for the skin when applied externally.

Since its foundation in 2017, SANDICCA’s goal has therefore been to formulate the talents of sea buckthorn in

Since 2014, Tanja and her husband Gabriel Kroisleitner have been cultivating the life-affirming
plant of light, sea buckthorn, in Austria and are fascinated by its ingenuity and its

are used on an evidence-based basis in complementary skincare.

At the same time, scientific research was initiated focusing not only on the effects
of sea buckthorn pulp oil, but also on those of sea buckthorn leaves and
sea buckthorn seed oil, with a focus on anti-aging. The results were largely astonishing
and led to the decision to develop a dedicated anti-aging natural-effect cosmetics line.
What makes the product range so unique is its almost lavish
formulation with sea buckthorn and its valuable components.

ANTI-AGING BOOST EFFECT

A natural fresh-cell treatment for the skin. Through the interaction of natural
high-tech active ingredients from organic sea buckthorn, the skin experiences a noticeable anti-aging boost-
effect. The skin’s natural cell protection is activated and forms a protective shield against
environmental influences and DNA damage to skin cells. It delays the first signs of
skin aging and stimulates the activity of skin cells. Collagen synthesis is stimulated
